I love soccer; I can’t even remember a time when I didn’t play soccer. I love the hard work of training, I love the competitiveness of games and I love traveling with my team to tournaments. The ‘team’ aspect of soccer is important to me for several reasons. On a personal level I like being part of a team because relationships built on the field continue off it and I have made friends that I’ll have forever. On a ‘professional‘ level a good team works together towards a goal, pushing each other and encouraging each other, and reaching that goal makes both the team and the player stronger. I prefer to play an as attacking forward where I can use my speed and a strong, accurate kick or as an outside midfielder where I can cross the ball into the box. But one part of being on a team is playing where I’m needed so I can also play in an attacking midfielder position where I can distribute the ball up or even as a defending midfielder position when needed.
