Personal Statement

Hello Coaches and thank you for taking the time to preview my profile page.  My name is Alexa Harriman and I have played soccer since the age of 4 and goalkeeper since the age of 10.   It has always been my dream to play at the collegiate level.  I am preferably looking to play for a private Christian University that will not only develop my soccer and future job skills, but also my personal relationship with Christ.

Over the years I have learned to focus in on my strengths as a goalkeeper so I am the best possible asset to my team.  I am a quick and agile athlete that is quick off the line and quick to the ball.  I have a quick reaction time allowing me to make those tough last second saves.  I also have a natural instinct when it comes to punching and parrying the ball out of harms way and most importantly holding and covering the ball whenever possible.  I also have the ability to play with my feet giving my team an extra field player.  I am also a very vocal keeper with the ability to see the field and direct my team mates whether we are attacking or defending.

I believe I would make a good candidate not only for my athletic skills but also for my academic achievements and most importantly my character. Not only do I have a strong work ethic, I also get along with others and respect my coaches and teachers.   Most importantly I work diligently on building strong relationships with my team mates both on and off the field.  I was recently voted team captain for my High School Team by my fellow team mates as we look to win a district championship with eyes on going to State.

I am looking for a school that has a great culture both on and off the field and where I would love spending the next 4 years of my life.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Alexa Harriman

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
