My freshman year of high school soccer was a successful start to my high school career. I ended the season starting every game, 17 goals, 11 assists, and 2nd team all district. At this time I also started a new club season, ending that strongly as well. However the summer going into my sophomore year I tore my PCL and was unable to play any games in both club and school seasons. I spent the summer of 2022 making up the time I'd missed by working hard enough to surpass where I was my freshman year. This injury was a very difficult experience for me but it has proved how deeply I care for the sport I've been playing since I was 3 and how willing I am to work hard to continue playing the game I love.
It's only made me stronger and given me the time away to fall back in love with soccer.
