From the young age of four, I immediately knew soccer was the sport for me. While I have excelled at other sports such as cross country, gymnastics and swimming, soccer has been, and always will be, my passion. I have excellent physicality and endurance that enables me to regularly play full 90-minute games. My determination and coachability has earned me a starting position on the field. As an ambidextrous player with a good footballing brain, I have become a versatile player as I have been able to adapt and perform well in various positions all over the pitch. Because of these attributes, I have served as a captain on my team for the past two years. For the past 2 winter seasons I played on a coed soccer team for my high school in which we competed with Varsity Boys teams in our division. That experience not only forced me to become an even more aggressive player, but more tactical as well.
Just as my competitive nature motivates me to play my absolute best on the pitch, I am an academically strong student at a university-model private school with a rigorous college prep program. Science is my favorite subject by far, and it is my goal to pursue a career in the medical field as a nurse or doctor.
