Samantha Dell '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Dell and I'm a hardworking Soccer player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game of soccer. Some of my most important accomplishments were being picked to go to Portugal with the Virginia State ODP team,  Getting accepted into the Disney Showcase, and starting in every varsity soccer game my freshman year. I have been on the varsity soccer team at my high school since my freshman year and being on my school's swim and dive team, making it to regionals in all 3 sports.

Knowing that I'm capable of playing Soccer in college would make me more passionate and confident with what I do. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go to the field and the last to leave. I would consider my self to be a leader on and off the field because I always keep a positive mindset with my teammates and coaches. 

When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, I am very open to wherever. I mainly am looking at east coast states (Delaware, New York,  Florida, North and South Carolina, etc.) but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open-minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. I am looking to go to more of a bigger school but It does not necessarily matter of the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play Soccer I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now are either Bachelors's in history or science or Criminal Justice. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.

My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to be an example to those after me. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest, would keep a smile on my face.
