2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
If I had to get my personal statement across in one line, it would be, " hard work pays off." I believe that this is true in both swimming and academics. I think that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and this includes how I treat my own body and mind. While many people say they want to perform better, I am always looking for news ways to challenge and improve myself.
My goal is to find the college where I can continue be challenged in school, while being part of a swim family that supports and encourages each other. While I have experienced some success during high school, I know I am capable of so much more. I am looking for that coach who can see my potential, and is willing to put together a plan to help me achieve the next level of success. In return, I can promise you that I will listen to your feedback, push myself out of my comfort zone, and give you 100% every day, because I truly believe that "hard work pays off."
