Personal Statement

Becoming a collegiate athlete has always been a dream of mine. Goals are very important to me because I feel that they help me motivate myself to constantly improve. Even at the college level, I will still strive to be better no matter how good I am. I believe that I am a strong leader and I always try to do what is in the best interest of my team. My team is my family and I will always put them first. In school, I push myself to take the most rigorous classes in order to hopefully boost my GPA and make myself more desirable to colleges. Although athletics are very important, school will come before sports because of its lifelong value. By becoming a collegiate athlete, I hope to better myself and those around me through both athletics and academics.

  • I ran a 20:55!
  • Camp/Event
  • Georgia High School State Cross Country Meet
  • 11/06/20 to 11/06/20
  • My team achieved a 3rd place finish and I finished 12th individually. I was the second fastest freshman in the State.
  • Camp/Event
  • Hall County Championship (Cross Country 5k)
  • I finished 8th out of 55 girls. My time was 21:05 which was 43 seconds faster than my time last season on the same course. I can tell I'm getting faster and look forward to beating my PR this season.
  • Camp/Event
  • Alexander/Asics Invitational (Cross Country 5K)
  • This course was not the same as last season. The race director changed the route this year due to a concert/event being held near the old finish line. This race ran a lot slower this year which was a let down because my team and I were expecting PR's. However, I looked at the positives and noticed I was only 3 seconds off from my race time from a week prior. My time was 21:08 and I placed 94 out of 241.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
