I have been running track for 7 years. I run the 100,200,4x1, and 4x2. I am the anchor is both relays. Track is my number one hobby. I would one day like to run for the Olympic team. I am hard working and a team player. I was a Freshman on varsity in 2015. I am now 1/5 Varsity captains on my team. If I'm not running then I am studying and working on school work. I want to pursue a career in the medical field. I like volunteering at hospitals and my church, and I like being involved in my community. Track is a way for me to set goals and work to achieve them. In 2015 my team was second in conference and second in county. In 2016 we were County, Conference, and 3A Sectional champions. I ran the anchor leg in our 4x100 that qualified for state. In summer I run with a travel team so I can stay in shape and continue to grow as an athlete. In March of 2017 I was Buffalo Wild Wings Athlete of the month in my county. I see myself as a good leader, team player, and hard working athlete. I also qualified for the state finals in the 100 and 200. That was a very important moment for me, I ended up setting new personal records. Track for me is more than a hobby, over the years it has become a lifestyle and it is something that I really enjoy.
