Paige Simpson '23 Recruiting Profile

      When I think about my future, I think about a number of things; What is my purpose, and what am I doing to fulfill my purpose? Then I start off with the basics. My name is Paige Simpson. I am a junior at Merrillville High School in Merrillville, IN. I have a maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire high school career throughout the pandemic and wish to further my education into the medical field. I currently run the 100m, 200m, 55m, 60m, 4x100m, and the 4x400m. I have been running track since the 6th grade. But what does that mean for me? Running track has been my passion since a young age. But as I got older I began to fall in love with the sport altogether. From the workouts to the encouraging teammates. Soon later everything about the sport was a green flag for me. This sport has taught me to not only push myself past my limits, but it has also conditioned me to set very high standards and expectations of myself on and off the track field. I’d be a great addition to your team, mainly because I am teachable and willing to accept the opportunity to apply my potential. And through your school, I'm seeking to enhance my academic and athletic career. I am hungry and awaiting to see who’s ready to feast with me.
