2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My interest in running began in eighth grade. I made a spontaneous decision to join our track and field team simply to have fun. After exploring a variety of races, long distance running quickly developed into a love and passion of mine. I've acquired numerous experiences throughout my life that have helped me grow into a highly driven and determined individual. Discovering more about myself and being on a team didn't happen when we were at our best, it happened when we were one spot away from going to states in 2018. I believe that learning to pick yourself up from failures is one of the most important qualities to have. I am so excited to continue my athletic career on a collegiate level. Thank you.
