I started Track at the end of 8th grade because my gym teacher told me I was the fastest girl in the school. As much as I love cheerleading I love the feeling of running and competing and get excited how it made me feel. I made the varsity track teams in addition to varsity cheerleading my freshman year. I competed as a dual sport athlete in the winter seasons only getting to practice half the time in each sport. My sophomore track seasons I really started to improve, win some races and noticed how much fun it was enjoying my new talent. I improved so much from my freshman season, to my sophomore season. Junior year I was one of the best sprinters in the state and was winning races at indoor meets and invitationals. I was so excited about my upcoming spring season and the 100 being my best event but we were cancelled with COVID-19. Despite the lockdown I pushed forward with my father, we built a garage gym and started weight training, plyometrics and practicing block starts in our street. I’m very proud that I have competed in eight division 1 state championships in four different sports and I am on pace to earn 15 varsity letters. I'd like to compete at a D1 or D2 level, and I am doing my best to speak with coaches, visit campuses and find the best fit for me.
