Personal Statement
My main goal while going through this recruiting process is to not settle. I've worked extremely hard to be at the point where I am today, so I want to go to a school that appreciates the work I've put into dropping time in my events. I feel like I'm a good candidate to be on your team is because I won't give up. If you ask any of my friends or family, they will tell you that I am extremely competitive. I won't go down without a fight. The main thing that sets me apart from other recruits is the fact that I don't devote all my time to running, I make room to have a life as well. I'm first in my class, and I devote pretty much my whole summer to volunteering at my local YMCA and going to Christian camps.
