My name is Britt Lange and I am a junior at Vistamar School in El Segundo, California. I live in Manhattan Beach, California with my parents, 17-year-old sister, and 8-year-old brother. This club season, I am playing as a libero for Southern California Volleyball Club's 17/18's team. My high school season finished with a record of 27-1, and I have played outside hitter on my school's varsity team since freshman year. Outside of volleyball, I have played on my school's varsity soccer team for the past two years. I have also been a part of my school's Rock Ensemble and Music Club, singing and playing the guitar and ukulele. I am heavily involved in my church, and I attend Sunday services, weeknight youth groups, and Hume Lake Christian Camp in the summer. I am also involved in National Charity League, having been on the board for my class for three years. In addition to Music Club, I am a part of Pre-Med Club and Feminist Club, and I recently started a Christian Club that I lead with a few church friends at my school. I am a co-leader of Vista Sports Network, a school organization for athletic media (photography, social media, and broadcasting athletic events), and I run my school's athletic Instagram, @vistamarathletics. My favorite subjects in school are math and science, and I am most interested in neuroscience and would possibly like to be pre-med in college. I am currently taking AP Calculus BC, AP Spanish Language, AP Biology, AP English Language and Composition, and Honors US History (my school does not offer AP), and I have a 4.4/4.0 GPA after my first two trimesters of Junior year. I scored a 760 on the SAT II Math 2 Subject Test, and I scored a 1560 on the SAT.
