Kristi Baker '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been in love with the game of volleyball since day one of seventh grade. My passion for the sport has been driven by my hard work, determination, and love for volleyball. I am incredibly hardworking and refuse to fail! If I do fail, you know there was a long, hard fight behind it.This applies to my academics as well. I have held a 3.6 or above my whole life.(usually and currently a 4.0). I bring a sense of leadership as well as a positive attitude to a group of people on and off of the court.I played club volleyball for two years as well as playing varsity volleyball for my high school for two and a half years.(next season will make 3.5 years) My team has been Golden League Champions each year. I was awarded with All-League Player this past season as well as most improved. Receiving most improved meant the most to me knowing my skills are becoming more advanced and my hard work is paying off. Each year I better myself drastically. I'm expecting many more improvements to come to reach my full potential. I love to lead and have been involved in A.S.B, leading in my volunteer work, starting a volleyball club at my high school, and being apart of a group called True Leaders. I would love to turn my dream of playing college volleyball into a reality! I hope to achieve great things both athletically and academically. I believe I can bring many assets to a team at the college level. I'm more excited than ever to see what the future holds. My highlight video was made from a single game.* Thank You!
