I am a 5'6, volleyball defensive specialist from Riverside, CA and will graduate in the 2018 class. My academic goal for highschool is to end with a GPA no less than 3.8 and continue with good grades throughout college. I was a team captain my freshman, sophomore, and senior year. I was awarded athelete of the week by my high school and student of the month by my highschool coach for "... stepping up and being reliable everyday." It has been a dream of mine to play collegiate sports ever since I discovered my love for the game around the age of 12. Through playing volleyball I have learned so much about myself, in example, being selfless and not only playing for me, but playing for the girl next to me.
I would like to go to school in Southern California in order to stay close to home, in which I feel would benefit my college educational career more, such as family support, no distractions and solidarity. I am looking to pursue a univeristy that would best fit my desired major of kinesiololgy. Being open to different types of schools, finacial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have a high need. Ideally at the collegiate level, my goal is to be at a program where I fit in and can make an impact on a team rather it be on or off the court.
