Alexis Linafelter '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lexi Linafelter, I am a 2020 Middle Hitter for Vail Mountain School and Vail Volleyball Club in Vail, CO. This is my second year playing at the varsity level. Up until this year, I was a full time ski racing athlete, but after falling in love with volleyball, I decided to completely commit myself, and work to achieve my goal of playing at the highest level I can. My sophomore year, when the opportunity did come for me to play at the varsity level, I rose to the challenge, because of my constant work ethic on and off the court. This year as a starter, I have been working hard to improve and be able to take my game to the next level for the coming years and have been getting stronger every day.

Simply, I love playing Volleyball, and I have been extremely passionate and loving of the sport from the moment I stepped on the court, and will continue to put in 110% to reach my full potential as an athlete. 

Although I love playing the sports I do, the most important thing for me is finding a school that is academically challenging and strong. It is most important to me to find a school that is the right academic fit, but I am looking for a school that will provide new opportunities for me to play a sport I love at the next level.
