As a three-sport athlete in middle school, I had to make the decision between sports that would be the same season in the fall during high school. I made the decision to focus on volleyball because of the atmosphere on the court and the feeling I have when playing. During my seven years of experience playing volleyball, I have learned to become more competitive on and off the court. As a naturally quiet person, this was a really big turning point in my playing ability. I have a great ability to keep a positive attitude regardless of the circumstances, even being awarded the Mental Attitude Award my sophomore season.
Academics have always been a huge importance to me. My plans are to graduate with an Academic Honors Diploma. I have been focusing on taking honors classes as well as dual college credit classes to help prepare me for my college career. I would like to pursue a college degree in Pharmacy or Athletic Training and would like to find a college or university that is the best fit for me academically, not just athletically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
