Kassadi Avent '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kassadi Avent. I am a 16 year old junior, with aspirations to be a surgeon. My dream is to attend a university where I can play volleyball competitively at the highest level, while also providing me the best educational and all-around experience to prepare me for adulthood and a career in my chosen field.

I started playing volleyball at 10 years old. I loved the game from the start, and have worked every year to get better - to learn the game, to hit harder, jump higher, and play smarter!

I have been playing sports since I was five years old. Soccer, basketball, track and field, in addition to volleyball. I have always loved jumping and have won 6 AAU or USA Track and Field National Championships - in High Jump (3), Long Jump (1), 4x100,(1), and the Triathlon (1 - High Jump, Shot Put, and 200 meters). I still compete in high jump and won the south Jersey Group 4 sectional championship last season as a Freshman with a jump of 5'4".

I've played for the Jersey Juniors (formerly Cherry Hill Volleyball Club - CHVBC) for 3 seasons, and Eastern Volleyball Academy (EVA) for one season. Last year with EVA 17-Boncardo, we won the 2022 Nike Boston Volleyball Festival #2. 

My athleticism, focus, determination, good sportsmanship, and belief-in-self are the foundation for my high level of play and performance. But I believe being a supportive and kind teammate is critical for success as well.

When I'm not playing volleyball, I LOVE to read, spend time with my family, and hang out with my friends. I'm taking Italian in school and would love to travel to Italy one day.

My dream is to play competitive volleyball at the next level. I will continue to work hard and strive to be the best player and teammate that I can be!
