Kate Strong '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kate Strong and I have been a competitive athlete for over 7 years!  I have enjoyed playing multiple sports including volleyball, basketball and softball.  I love learning and developing on the court, on the field and in the classroom.  I am confident in my abilities, coachable and a great teammate.  I have excellent work ethic and a broad skill set when it comes to athletics.  In terms of volleyball,  I am a 6 rotation outside hitter, with an emphasis as a middle blocker.  I have a deep understanding of game strategy and love to win!  

My goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate level for my undergraduate work before joining the United States Air Force.  I am a natural leader on and off the court and have excelled in the classroom.  

As a medical scholar participant, I am currently enrolled in Intermountain Healthcare's Internship program for critical care.  Later this year, I will participate in an internship at HAFB with a focus on aviation. I am in my second year of JROTC and thrive in a structured environment.  I can't wait to see where the next four years takes me!
