My junior year of high school my varsity volleyball team and i got given the opportunity to go to state and play against the best teams in our 2B league. Going to state allowed me to learn an extreme amount about volleyball, such as on how to be more calm and collected in big matches, being a team leader and learning to pick people up when they are down, and how to be a top competitor. Stepping onto the state courts was an amazing feeling that will never leave and i helped to make my teammates realize just the same. Our team ended up losing out on the second day of the tournament but it was an amazing first state trip that ill never forget, and was the beginning to my new era.
My goals for college is to peek in my performance and to give it my all every and any time I step onto the court or into a classroom. I am known as being the one people look up too in sports and the one who always keeps the same high energy level throughout good and bad times, uplifting my teammates, peers, and myself. What sets me apart from everyone else is my ability to jump and also my perseverance and strive that i have for volleyball. On the education side I constantly push myself to do the best that I can and to always succeed with my goals. Going to college is a great opportunity and I want to be able to carry on playing the sports I love while building a career for my future.
