Jaclyn Wise '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jaclyn Wise and I am a 6’1”, right handed, outside/ opposite  hitter  in the class of 2021. I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin, attend Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran High School, and am a six rotation varsity starter at the outside hitter position.  This fall, I was a unanimous selection to the first team for the Wisconsin all State team for my school's division.  My club team is Fox Cities Elite 17 Navy (National). This is my fourth year on a national team. Ever since I started playing volleyball, I have grown in love and understanding of the game. I hope to play at a collegiate level and be an outstanding student both in academics and on the court. 

My grades at school are the most important thing to me.  I am determined to be the top student in my class and will work hard to maintain the 4.0 I currently have.  I have been a part of many extracurricular activities including, National Honor Society, WMDA All-State Choir, school drama, piano lessons, summer camps, volunteering at a fine arts camp, volleyball camps, and my church youth group. I have recently completed the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce Teen Leadership Program, which was very valuable to me.  This summer, I had a great job at Bay Beach amusement park.

I am the fifth of six kids, and it is a blast growing up in a large family.  I am thankful for my family, friends, teachers, and coaches who are helping me to grow in character, faith, and skill.

I am highly self motivated and hope to be an exceptional contributor to the college and volleyball team I become a part of.  I am thinking about pursuing a math related degree and would like to follow in a business leadership profession.  I am detail oriented, self disciplined, have good time management skills, and have a strong moral compass.
