I attended Alma College located in Alma, MI and I was a 4 year starter of the women’s soccer team. I was named a captain and All Region three out of my four years, MVP of our team two out of the four years. Upon graduation, I went to Brazil and played semi-professional soccer for a few seasons.
After Brazil, I moved to the West Coast and went to graduate school at Fresno State University and earned my MA in Sports Psychology all while working with the women’s soccer program there. After Fresno State, I accepted a coaching position at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA which is a high academic D3 Institution.
Through soccer I have learned so many life lessons and it has helped mold me into the person that I am today. The places the game has taken me and the people I have met will always have a lasting impression and I am excited to inspire the next generation to experience the same!
I currently reside in Traverse City, MI with my husband, son and our two dogs, Kona and Primrose. We enjoy all things outdoors!
