I was born, raised, went to college, and currently live in the state of New York.
In my athletic experience, I started dancing at two years old and began my first team sport in seventh grade in Soccer as a goalie. In high school, I moved to the left striker and stopper positions.
At the same time I started Track and Field doing shot put, discus, and the 100m hurdles and in High School focused more on jumps. During the summer between sophomore and junior year, I transitioned to Track and Field year round. This move led me to my first NYSPHSAA State Championships at the end of my junior year!
I continued to compete in Track and Field at the college level at the State University of New York at Cortland (SUNY Cortland) where also I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and minor in computer applications, as well as a Master’s of Science in Sport Management.
As for favorite sports teams, I stay loyal to the New York Rangers, New York Yankees, and New York Knicks as I have worked for them, but the “odd one out” team and the team that truly got me into watching sports is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In my free time, I like to spend time outside in any aspect, whether it is going to a game, concert, or any other events in the area.
As a Recruiting Coordinator, I am most looking forward to helping families get their loved ones to the college level since I know the feeling of being able to do it as well.
