My favorite takeaway from high school was the “importance” of having a Plan B just in case your Plan A is unsuccessful. I never had a “Plan B” because working in sports was the only thing I envisioned doing. Growing up in a home where sports was a consistent part of my life, created an inner desire to work in sports and help athletes.
As a woman in the sports industry, I appreciate the diverse representation of people from all walks of life. Not only has NCSA done an excellent job of instilling the value of inclusivity within their franchise; but the variety of athletes, sports, colleges, and divisions the company fosters is representative of that.
My professional journey began at Florida Atlantic University, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration. While at FAU I served as a Football Recruiting and Operations intern all four years, coupled with being heavily involved on campus. After my tenure as an undergrad, I pursued my master’s degrees in Business Management and Sports Business Management at the University of Central Florida. #GoKnights! As a Knight, I served as a Football Game Day intern as well.
On a personal level, I am a lover of all things beach, doggies, and reality TV! Being born and raised in Orlando, Florida is where my love of a TRUE beach day resides. I hold my relationships with friends and family close to my heart. I am sandwiched between a younger and an older brother. Being an only girl with two brothers who played college football at the D1 level, has toughened me in all the best ways. Witnessing firsthand my brother’s recruiting process allows me to connect with families/athletes on a unique level.
As a Recruiting Coordinator, it grants me an opportunity to utilize my experience working in sports at the collegiate level, paired with my passion for this industry to change lives through sports.
