Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, I attended Rosevelt High School. I then went on to Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa as a member of the ICCC baseball team for one year. I transferred to the University of Iowa to finish my Bachelors of Science degree in Sport Recreation and Management. While at the University of Iowa, I coach high school hockey for three years with the Iowa City Junior Heartlanders.

The reason I came to NCSA was to help student athletes and their families understand grasp the recruiting process so student athletes in high school can reach their full potential. The recruiting process can be confusing and overwhelming, and I want to help families dissolve the confusing and put their student athlete in a great position to be in touch with colleges coaches. During my time in high school athletics, I was able to be around a number of student athletes who had the potential to play a sport at the next level and they would have benefited from an organization like NCSA builds the bridge to getting high school student athletes in contact with college coaches.

In my free time, I am usually playing golf with friends or going to a hockey rink to play pickup hockey. I think it’s important to stay active and be a part of sports outside of the work world. I hope to in near future I will get back to coaching and volunteering with youth hockey.
