Ethan McDowell '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan McDowell, I am a pitcher and a shortstop in the class of 2025. I currently attend Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Alabama where I maintain a 3.2 GPA while also dedicating my time to baseball and academics.

As the leader of our baseball team here at Cleveland, I take pride in leading my team to victory on and off the field whether it be baseball related or school related. During my 8th grade year I had the privilege of being awarded 1st team all county, my 9th grade year I was moved up to varsity to be the teams Ace, and we also swept area for a 9-0 record giving us the opportunity to be Area Champions.

I am known for my hard work, and competitiveness in all aspects of my life, I always strive to be the best player, student, and person that I can as well as encouraging my fellow teammates, and friends to do so as well. 

My main goal as of right now is to play baseball at the collegiate level. There I can continue to better myself as a young adult, and also developing my skills to reach my fullest potential while also being a hardworking student in the classroom.
