    The factor which fuels my desire to play the game is the taste of victory. It feels good to win. However, the event which has shaped me as a student-athlete was during my sophomore year when our team was eliminated from advancing to the playoffs. Our unsuccessful efforts shaped who I am as an individual and made me focus on becoming a solid defensive catcher,  so I can excecute what is required of me. I am a player with a superior skill-set who is able to play at the collegiate level and beyond.

    I got into the game at a young age through watching the older kids play, and wanting to be the best, just like the professionals. Through my efforts during my years playing baseball, I learned that success takes patience and dedication. Playing with a wide age and skill range of teammates and opponents, I have learned valuable leadership skills. I am looking for a school which will be the right fit for me athletically, and academically. I believe that not only will my talent enable me to compete for college programs, but the coachability, work ethic, and leadership I possess will make a strong positive impact on your program, and OUR success.
