Lucas Brutsche '23 Recruiting Profile

I believe I am an exciting up-and-coming prospect with a big upside.  I am the ultimate competitor who attacks hitters with 4 different pitches and gets batters out.  I throw strikes and am not afraid to attach the ability to keep hitters off-balance.  As a hitter, I have has plus power in the gaps with 96mph exit velocity and I hit for average.  I believe I am coachable and well-liked by my teammates and coaches alike. I bring exceptional energy to practice every single day and I take no days off.  I am in the National Honor Society at Basha High School and am very active in my community. When given the choice to PO varsity as a sophomore or play 2-way and hit on JV, I chose JV.  I feel I provide explosive offense and currently, lead the JV team in hits.
