Personal Statement

I have been working toward the goal of college baseball since age 10.  My priorities are faith, family, school and baseball in that order.  However, for the last four years, I have practiced hitting, pitching, throwing and base-running 2-3 times per week and play in tournaments 1-2 times per month.  My goal is a 3.5 gpa in high school.

This summer, (2015), I was pulled up to varsity for summer ball, one of two soon to be sophmores.  I went 13-35 at the plate with some big hits in key situations.  I started 12/15 games this summer at ss and 2b.  I was able to reach base a lot, only striking out 3 or 4 times at this high level.  I had some very big hits at keys times.  I improved my arm strength by playing shortstop and was solid in the field, minimizing errors.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
