I started my athletic journey at the age of five as a wrestler. Although very young that taught me valuable lessons on athletic body awareness and sportsmanship that has carried over to baseball. I continue to enjoy the sport of wrestling and have had several accomplishments throughout the years, including state champion, member of the Arkansas National Wrestling Team, Varsity high school as a freshman, took 3rd place individually at the conference tournament freshman year, team state dual runner-up, and academic state championship to name a few. Even with these accolades, my heart is on the baseball diamond. While I feel the most at home playing 2nd base, I am efficient playing any position, except maybe catcher.
My goal for my high school career is to graduate with distinguished honors and would like to continue that academic success to the college level. I believe me being a dual sport athlete, has given me dedication and a work ethic that will make me a valuable addition to a collegiate roster. I start my day at 5 am to report for baseball practice and return home at almost 6 pm from wrestling. The grueling schedule has not slowed my academic success in the honors program.
