I am entering my Senior year at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, AR. I am currently 6'2" and 175 LBS. I hit and throw right handed. My primary position is right-handed pitcher and my secondary position is first base, although I also play short stop and third. In my own words plain and simple, I am a ball player and I love the game of baseball. Since the age of five I have played the game. I respect the game and all the people I have played with. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches, and I know that without them I wouldn't be the player that I am today. There is always more to learn. When I am not playing baseball or not in school I enjoy working out and fishing. I also like to hunt and watch a good baseball game on ESPN. School and baseball take up most of my time. I lift four times a week with some fellow teammates from my high school team and/or training facility in the off season. Over the winter months I do speed and agility training, while also taking it easy for at least one day a week, spending time with my family. My parents are very positive people, and they have always supported me in baseball and life. As far as my most important accomplishments I have played varsity baseball since I was a freshman in high school. My freshman year I started for the Junior Varsity team at either pitcher or short stop. At first it was hard playing with players 4 years older than me, but with in no time I was part of the team. I think that experience will help me transition into college. I'm a hard worker, and I try to be a better student, baseball player and person every day. On the field I communicate clearly and loudly, but off of the field I would say I am a little quieter than most. Coaches usually tell me that I am very coachable and always open to listening to advice.
