My name is Ian Jackson. I am currently a Senior at Lincoln High School and live in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have been interested in many sports for a very long time, but baseball has always been my passion. Playing baseball I have learned that no matter what I do I will always try my hardest and do the best I can. Baseball has taught me that I am a leader on and off the field. During basketball season we are not required to go to any baseball practices, but I go to every practice I can go to so I can get better every single day. Going into my freshman year I transferred schools and every chance I got I showed the coach that I was one of the hardest workers on the team and ended up starting on the varsity team as a freshman.
Even though I have a passion for baseball, I know that academics is what will get me farther in life. In the classroom, I maintain a 3.84 GPA and take many honors and AP classes. While in the classroom, I will help many of my peers on things that they don't understand. I have always had an interest in physical therapy and would love to go to a school where I could study that. My goal is to go to a college where I can compete and also get the highest education possible.
