March 2015Personal Statement
My goals presently are to improve as a student and baseball player. I am working hard to improve my bat speed, to get faster on the base paths (I have improved almost a half second on my 60 yard time in the last year), throwing velocity and control on the mound, and am working on adding some muscle. I also plan to focus a lot more on my academics in the next 2 years; I know that I can do better than I have the past two years. I also plan to take the ACT several times this year as well as next year. Although pitcher is my primary position, I also play third and outfield. My coach says I am a true utility player that can play anywhere on the field. I think my greatest asset is my will to succeed and take instruction. I love the game of baseball and love to be on the field
