For as long as I can remember I have loved the game of baseball. I started pitching at eight years old and started travel ball at nine. Being part of a team is a special thing; it challenges and builds my character. My maintained composure and confidence on the mound is for the team; I want them to trust me and themselves for the win. I am the starting pitcher for my high school team since sophomore year. Anytime I’m not pitching, I’m playing shortstop and also hitting in the lineup at all times. Sophomore year I received all-conference and the pitching award for my team. Junior year I received all-conference, all-state, and the pitching award for my team once again. I was the #1 pitcher in my conference last year and I fully intend on keeping that spot my senior year. Pitching is my passion and I’d love to have the chance to pitch at the college level and improve all of my attributes.
