Personal Statement

My name is Noah del Rosario I am 5’10 175 lbs  and a RHP/OF from North Delta, British Columbia. I play for the North Delta Blue Jays PBL team and represented BC in the Canada Summer Games as a pitcher. I am a very strong and fast athlete who can get through any challenge thrown at me. I am a very dedicated and quick learner who will finish any task you ask me and to my best effort. For as long as I can remember baseball has always been what I have wanted to do for 24 hours a day. I have been playing baseball since I was 3 but I started taking it seriously when I turned 12 which includes going to the gym every day and working my absolute hardest every time I am at practice or games and even while doing independent work at my batting cage. I say I am different from others because I will do anything to help my team win and no matter how hard things get I will always be at practice on time, ready to go and I will never give up even if it seems impossible. Baseball is a game of wins and losses and I learn from each loss by working on improving for the next game.  I am a very dedicated athlete who is always looking to improve my game. In my small town most people know me as the athlete who doesn’t stop training and working. If I am not playing baseball, I am working at a local restaurant to save money to help my parents send me to college/university.  When I am not working I go to the gym daily and also play volleyball to get myself stronger and more agile for baseball. Lastly academically,  I am an overall excellent student who has made it on honour roll every year of high school and graduated high school with honours. I am always focused on my work and am not afraid to ask for help when needed. I will always put 150% into everything I do no matter how hard or how simple the task is. I am a very competitive person who loves to win and I will motivate myself to continue working on whatever I need to help improve myself for the next game. I believe that there is always going to be someone that can hit the ball harder, throw faster and who is better than I am which is the mentality I bring to every game which keeps me on my toes. Finally I am an extremely hard worker who can be relied on at any time. Thank you!
