I am a dual citizen (U.S. and Canadian) and I have loved playing baseball since I was three years old with my grandpa in Memphis, Tennessee. I live in British Columbia, Canada and have been playing on local baseball teams since I was about 4 years old. I've made travel teams and have played in baseball tournaments in the U.S. These include: The Tucson Invitational Games (March 2023 and 2022) and the BLE travel ball team (February 2022) to Las Vegas and the Bullpen travel team out of Surrey, to name just a few. I've also thrown a no-hitter game in July 2021, and have been consistently one of the younger players playing up with older teammates.
My goal is to play baseball at a university level while studying engineering, math or physics. I've taken advanced/honours classes, including AP Calculus in Grade 11, and have a GPA of 3.9. I also completed my DELF exam (Niveau 1) in French and have done French immersion. My volunteer work has included helping with player tryouts and evaluations for our baseball club as well as teaching engineering concepts at the University of British Columbia's Geering Up summer camp. From grades 8 to 10 I played on my high school's basketball team, the Elgin Orcas. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, playing golf and playing with my dogs. I also work part-time while being a student and high-level baseball player.
I believe in teamwork, being focused and treating your teammates and coaches with respect. And always be willing to listen and be coached.
