The things that have influenced me to be who I am today, would be the advice that my parents have always given me. Rather that's being about school or sports. I became interested in baseball since t-ball. I always new I liked playing ball and that I would always play it until it was my time to stop, but I knew I really loved baseball when I won the MVP award for an Under Armour Baseball Factory tournament. Then I knew I wanted to play at a college level. I have learned that I always persevere to get the task at hand done. Even when I fail the first few times, it encourages me to keep trying it until it becomes a skill.
My academic goals for high school is to keep maintaining good grades no matter how difficult it gets. For college it's the same concept. I need to maintain good grades all throughout school in order to be where I need to be. I have overcome a lot of obstacles to be where I am, but the most common one was always competing for a spot on the field. A skill that I have is that I am a good visual learner and that I pick things up real quick once someone shows me how to do the task at hand. Rather that's math equations or drills that I do at practice.
