Personal Statement

Entering my final year of junior college at Yuba College in Linda, California.  I am a red shirt sophomore with two more years of eligibility after the 24/25 season wraps up.


I am looking forward to moving on to the next level of my college career where I can continue to develop and contribute to the team environment.  I still study the HLP Swing.

  • 07/20/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Stockton (Sacramento), CA Jonah is an athletic/talented catcher who has a solid all-around skill-set. With the bat, he shows an athletic/square setup with a good hand load. He whips the barrel with + bat speed, connects and creates good extension through contact. He hits the ball where it's pitched, spraying it to all parts of the field. Behind the dish, he sits in well with flexion and presents a low/soft target. Footwork is quick as he moves well laterally around pitches in the dirt, centering the ball off of his chest. Transfer/exchange is quick with accuracy on his throws - pop times at 2.25. Eldridge (2022 grad) has skills with upside as he enters his junior year.
