Cole Hazel '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cole Hazel and I am currently a Senior at Atwater High School in Atwater, California. I play baseball and football. I have always had a dream to go to college and further both my education and my athletic career.  My parents have always pushed my academics and I put them first over anything and that has always kept me focused on my goals in life. I, one day, want to obtain my degree and being able to say that the hard work that I put into my academics was worth it.  I see myself as a leader in everything I do and I always push myself to be the one who people will look at when times are hard and they need someone to keep them motivated. I believe I am different from most recruits because I view my whole self from a competitive standpoint, no matter what the situation is. This drives me to be the best I can be always. I never settle when it comes to my grades or my athletics and I continually push myself to get better every day. I have been a Student Body Officer for 3 years and  I have been involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and campus Leadership for 4 years. I have worked in the community both as a volunteer with I Love Winton, participant and fundraiser for Miracles Do Happen and a paid Recreational Instructor for the youth summer program for the City of Atwater. I am an honor student with a 4.15 GPA and have completed both AP and College courses through Merced College during my High School career. I have received recognition as an All Academic-First Team (Baseball).
