For my entire life I have wanted to play baseball at higher levels. I have also wanted to use baseball to help me obtain an education. I work hard every day by practicing, working out, or helping others. Whether or not I might be on a team I always find time every night to better myself, whether it be in school and academics, or in baseball. For every single practice or game I have had, I am always the first one on the field, and the last one off. I always put the team first, even if that means sacrificing a personal goal. Not only do I play to better myself, but baseball is a team sport and I will do anything to help my team. My attitude of working as hard as I can translates into my academics as well. Baseball is important to me and I take it very seriously, but school must always come first. It doesn't matter how good I am on the field if I can not learn to be just as good in the classroom.
