Nick Forrest '23 Recruiting Profile

As a Senior with a 4.2  GPA I'm looking forward to playing baseball at the collegiate level while pursuing an Engineering degree.  I am a team player who supports his peers and teammates on and off the field.  My coaches have expressed that I am a quick learner, very coachable, being able to take what they teach and implement it into my craft. With my experience in martial arts I have obtained a certain discipline, focus, sportsmanship, and respect for teammates and coaches that has shaped me as a competitive baseball player.

As a Varsity Starter since my sophomore year, I am a very consistent player, defensively and offensively, excelling in clutch situations. In 2021(sophomore yr.) had a .490 Batting Average hitting in all parts of the field. As a pitcher and shortstop I have a excellent  fielding percentage and a consistently low ERA. I consider myself as a utility player being able to perform successfully, with experience and competence, in every position on the field.
