NEW VIDEO ADDED FALL 2023 - BRADEN HILL (2024) RHP -- VERIFIED 86 MPH FASTBALL 6 FOOT 3, 175 POUNDS.
About Me: I have been accepted and am committed to pitch at Occidental College in LA in the fall of 2024. I will be an Economics major at Oxy.
Details: I am Braden Hill, Class of 2024 at Franklin High School in Elk Grove, CA. I turned 17 at the end of June. I am a 6 foot 3, 175-pound RHP. I play travel baseball for the CBA-SSC 2024 17U National Team Sacramento. I take Honors and AP classes including AP Language & Composition and Calculus AB. I served in student leadership on campus for 2 years. I have been a starter on Delta League champion teams each year at my high school, pitching for both JV and Varsity in the 2023 season. I pitched in relief on our Varsity Team in 2024 and we just won the Delta League Championship in May of 2024! I currently have a 4.2 weighted GPA (3.92 unweighted). I strive everyday to work hard in the classroom, on the diamond, and in the weight room and I desire to win in any activity I pursue. I am also a good teammate, son, brother and friend. In addition, I won the Franklin High School Wildcat "CAT" Award for "Commitment, Academics, Team" given out by the coaches.
Pitching & Increasing Velocity: My fastball topped 87 mph in relief during our Franklin High Varsity 10-0 shutout win over Pleasant Grove on May 1, 2024. That same day we found out we won the Delta League Championship.
October 2023: Per Ryzer at College Coaches Showcase in SF: Fastball 86 mph. Curveball 75 mph. Changeup 74 mph. (Verified)

Working with Former MLB Pitcher: I just started working with a former MLB pitcher to get my velocity up and improve my delivery to get to the next level. My curveball is solid. I am sitting 84-86 mph now.
