Hello Coaches,
My name is Chris Montes de Oca and it has always been a dream and goal of mine to play baseball at the next level. Some of my long term aspirations are to play in the MLB or get into forensics and become a crime scene investigator. Baseball is my passion but I would also love to solve crimes. For College I would like to go to a school with a very competitive baseball program. Most importantly, a school that challenges me and pushes me to my full potential. Currently I am playing High School Baseball at the varsity level for Etiwanda High School and we have a very competitive program. Baseball is a sport that I will love forever and I hope to play at the next level and achieve my dreams.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is I play and do what's best for my team. I try and be a leader with my teammates and love learning and getting advice from my coaches. I currently play any position in the outfield and I have been playing third base for most of my junior year.
What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics is I put my team before myself so we can be successful. This is why my high school team and I can say we are CIF Champions, because we played for each other. In the classroom, I do my best and so far all through high school I have gotten a 3.6 and above.
