During my sophomore year, I made it onto varsity as a pitcher and an outfielder. In the playoffs for my high school team, I pitched and won two of those games that led us to the semi-finals and I ended up getting player of the week twice in a row. Baseball has always been my passion. I started when I was very young and ever since I've always just grown into the sport. Through playing baseball, it has taught me, teamwork, accountability, hustle, and leadership. I have always been taught to out hustle everyone on the field whether its practice or a game and also live by the motto "no days off". Baseball has helped me become a better student in the classroom as well because they both require the same attributes. I have had to overcome many obstacles in my life. Still to this day, people don't believe that I will succeed because I have always been the little guy. My primary position is pitching and my biggest strength on the mound is the ability to locate all of my pitches in all counts, work ahead of hitters and truly PITCH. When not pitching, I also play thee outfield where my speed and ability to read the ball off the bat makes me a good defensive outfielder. At the plate, I usually hit third in the batting order.
