My name is Edward De Leon, and I will be graduating from Grand Terrace High School in 2024. I was raised in L.A. for the first 13 years of my life and had Dodger Stadium as my backyard. I have grown up with a love of baseball and a huge interest in cars. I intend to major in Criminal Justice and use my degree to join the Police force. I love working with my hands and creating things when I’m not putting in time on the baseball field. Most of the time you will find me building Lego sets or helping my dad with a woodwork project in our garage.
I am open-minded and enthusiastic about improving my baseball skills and techniques. My coaches enjoy working with me because I am a fast learner and receptive to their input. I have been told I have a great personality, am very likable and social. I get along well with my teammates and make sure they know I have their backs on the field.
Besides playing little league baseball when I was little, I was also on a Jr. triathlon team. I believe the training I did as a junior triathlete not only helped me become a fast runner, but improved my agility and endurance as an athlete.
I believe that giving 110% on the baseball field will help me become a great player and achieve my dreams of playing for a university, and ultimately sign with a major league team.
