Personal Statement

From the moment I began playing baseball, I can recall having that instant feeling of finding a new passion, drive, and determination to work because every time I stepped on that field I loved it.  From the time I put on my glove and step onto the field or the moment I enter into the box, the challenge of the game brought out in me a desire to work harder and practice harder than those around me.  I have always put in countless hours of work, practicing and training both in season and in the off-season in an attempt to improve myself as a player and build a confidence to dominate. This drive to win as well as the drive to always improve has allowed me to mature over the years, and allowed me to apply this attitude in every aspect of my life.  Both academically and physically, I have developed myself to work harder than those who are around me, and put in 100% effort to maintain my grades as one of the top in my class, and to act as an integral part of my team, driving towards victory and success. When it comes to baseball, I am open-minded, and will take the necessary steps for success, and once I step on the field I will act as a leader for my team, and pursue throughout any struggles to come out victorious. Overall I want to pursue my passion for the game at a higher level, furthering my maturity,  expanding my knowledge with a desire for learning, bringing with me my dedication and max effort attitude to provide the means for success.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
