Hello, my name is Hector Garcia and I am a scholar athlete. My goals for after high school is to go to a four-year university. I also would like to continue my baseball career. I believe I would be a good candidate for any team because I hold the qualities of being a hard worker, never giving up, and giving my best effort in everything I do. Baseball is the one thing that I've been doing my whole life, I never get tired of it, and will never stop loving the game. I have maintained an average GPA of 3.3 since freshman year. I have put in a ton of work this offseason. This year is very important to me because I will be working extra hard to be seen and recognized for my hard work. This summer I've worked hard to gain muscle, and been working on a throwing program to improve my velocity in pitching. I have been working out everyday after school to meet my goal. This shows my commitment and how baseball is very important to me since no colleges have yet to reach out, I want to change that this season. I have played against some of the top teams in travel ball. I know it's not easy facing some of the top college commits but I had competed with them. What differs me from others is that I have a pretty strong arm from the outfield. I have 5 pitches to choose from when I'm on the mound. I have what it takes to be a good enough pitcher by the end of 2019 when I graduate.
