My name is Mitch Hunter. I am a 6'5" pitcher and outfielder for the El Capitan Gauchos. I also play for NorCal Baseball. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and have been pitching since I was 9 years old. I have been fortunate to have several of my teams coached by former Major League pitchers, enabling me to refine myself and become a reliable pitcher.
Academically, I have always been a top student and a hard worker. My grades have been consistently outstanding and I have earned straight A's throughout high school. I attended a Catholic middle school, Our Lady of Mercy. Not only did I receive an excellent education, I was also taught to have a strong faith in God. I use this faith in all aspects of my life, including baseball.
I strive to continue to play baseball in college while obtaining a degree for my future.
