I have been taught in order to achieve a level of success in baseball you must first become a student of the game. Respect, focus, teamwork and dedication is how I approach any tasks set before me in my life. My parents have taught me that my job doesn't end as a student athlete just because I step off the field, but what I do in the classroom and my community is as equally important. Which Is why I take as much pride in my schoolwork as my athletic achievements. Maintaining a high GPA no matter the level of classes is very important to both me and my family. I continue to stay eligible on the field and be a positive example for my teammates. I have also been an active member and volunteer of NAACP youth council since I was 11 years old. Combining all these components on a daily basis is helping me become well rounded and helping me grow and reach my full potential as a student athlete. Thank you for your consideration.
