Heart and Hustle.
I have surprised EVERY coach I've ever played for... by outworking and outperforming their expectations. If they thought I wasn't big or strong enough or whatever... I've proven them wrong on the diamond. Every time.
On the field, I'm a highly competitive, very successful pitcher. I throw from a low 3/4 slot, have excellent accuracy and multiple pitches including a pretty devastating slider. I've got a good glove and have been fortunate to have had excellent fundamental coaching, so I know and regularly play in almost any position (except catcher). I've always been a great contact hitter/ high OBP, but as I've grown in the last year or so my power has increased dramatically as well. I have always been told that I am also a great "dugout" team member - I'm involved and positive.
Off field, I still love baseball. I've umpired since I was 11 (youngest umpire in the league) and I help coach younger teams.
I like to win. And I am willing to work as hard an anyone on the field to help my team do so. Put me in, coach.
